Horst Buchfink

His professional career has been closely tied to the IT industry from the very beginning. After joining IBM Germany, the industrial engineer held various national and international management positions at IBM Global Services. This was followed by leadership roles at EDS as Director of Business Solutions for the Central Region and at Software AG as Vice President of Business Operations Services, where he was responsible for the global software services business. He then served as a co-founder and managing partner of OPTiVATiON GmbH before founding aomation GmbH in 2017.

Dr. Ansgar Niehof

A graduate in physics with a Ph.D., he has been involved in information technology since 1993. At the start of his career, he worked as a project manager at GiS GmbH in Erlangen. GiS was the leading provider of maintenance management solutions for nuclear power plants in the DACH region. After joining Software AG in 2000, Dr. Niehof held various international management positions where he was responsible for the services business. In 2012, he returned to GiS GmbH as a managing partner and, in the years that followed, transformed GiS into IBM’s leading partner in the DACH region for the Maximo product. In 2020, he joined aomation GmbH, where he established the international EAM Consulting division.
